Catsuits

The first is a catsuit with character ears.
At Sanrio Puroland, many different types of character catsuits are available, including Hello Kitty, Cinnamon, and My Melody.
Wearing a catsuit of your favorite character will raise your spirits and make your time at Sanrio Puroland even more enjoyable.

These catsuits are available in the “Entrance Shop” at the far right side of the entrance, so you can buy one as soon as you enter.
You may buy a catsuit as soon as you enter to complete your coordination.

Key chain

The next item we will introduce is a key chain.
Sanrio Puroland sells key rings of various characters, so you can find a key ring of your favorite character. If you buy one, you will want to put it on your bag or something as soon as possible.
The key chains sold at the stores are cute, but at Sanrio Puroland’s “Mercure Workshop,” you can make a key chain with your name on it, the only one of its kind in the world.

Step1

First, take a tray and select a plate as the base.

Step2

Take letters and decorative parts on the tray. Choose the color of the parts and the place to put them while imagining where you want to place them.
Each piece of decoration or lettering costs about 100 yen, but since this is a chargeable system, the more parts you put on the tray, the higher the price will be.

Step3

Place letters and decorations on the plate that will serve as the foundation.
Place them with the finished product in mind.
Since this is an original item, it cannot be returned or exchanged after it has been glued together.
Check carefully at this point to make sure that the letters are not placed incorrectly.

Step4

Please take it directly to the checkout counter so that the arrangement does not collapse.
After payment, the staff will glue them together on the spot.
It seems to harden after about 10 minutes.

Step5

The one and only key holder in the world is completed.
In addition to key chains, there are also pass cases and other items, so you can try your hand at many other things.
Not only for yourself, but also for your family and friends as a souvenir would be appreciated.

My impression

The “fairy tale workshop” is located at the far end of the stairs on the right as you enter the entrance. It is located on the third floor, but it is so popular that a long line sometimes extends along the stairs to the fourth floor.
Also, the waiting time for the “fairy tale workshop” is often longer in the afternoon, so it is better to go in the morning to make it smoothly.
On busy days, the reception desk may close even an hour before closing time, so if you definitely want to make a key, get there early.

Making cute key chains at the “fairy tale workshop” is a lot of fun, but if you don’t have time, or if you want to enjoy the attractions and shows first, you can buy key chains sold at the store.
The Cinnamon key chain I bought at the store is my favorite because it is metallic and looks durable, but it is sparkling and very cute.
I use it as a precious memory of my visit to Sanrio Puroland.

Character food and character dessert cups

Next we will introduce “Character Food” and “Character Dessert Cups”.

Sanrio Puroland has four restaurants: the Character Food Court, the Pavilion Restaurant, Sanrio Rainbow World Restaurant, and Cinnamon Roll Dream Café, as well as the Sweet Parlor, which sells drinks and ice cream for takeout.

Miracle ice cream

All of the restaurants are very popular because of their cute character-designed food.
As mentioned in the previous article, all the restaurants get so crowded that there are long lines at lunch time.
Sanrio Puroland allows re-entry if you get your hand stamped, so if the restaurants are too crowded, you can go outside Puroland and eat your lunch once.
If you do so, be sure to ask the attendant at the exit to stamp your ticket.
The stamp is transparent and cannot be seen, but as long as you don’t rub it too hard, you can wash your hands.
There are hot springs and a large park around Sanrio Puroland, so you can use them for a break once you get out.
My husband went to a hot spring located a three-minute walk from Sanrio Puroland to relax.

The re-entry system is very convenient because we can meet up later even if we did not go to the same place at the same time.

There is a re-entry system and there are a number of restaurants around Tama Center Station, so you can eat at the restaurants around the station, but if you go to the trouble, you would prefer to eat inside Sanrio Puroland.
There are many original menus featuring characters that you can only eat at Sanrio Puroland, which is very valuable.
All of the menus are very cute and taste delicious, so you will be sure to be satisfied.

Roast beef bowl

Roast beef bowl with a real “Gudetama” on top is not only cute but also very delicious ministry!
Miso soup was also included in the set.

The main dish of the curry came with a character dessert cup, which you could take home as a souvenir if you ordered the “Blue Curry with Cinnamon Cream Omurice Character Dessert Cup.

This time I ordered the set, but you can also order the character dessert cup separately.

Since they are made of ceramic, it is best to wrap them in a towel to prevent them from breaking when you take them home.
The character dessert cups have a clear plastic container inside which the dessert is placed, so if you remove the container, you can take the cup home clean.

It may be a little heavy to take home, but you get to enjoy looking at the cute cup while you eat, and you get to take it home and use it every day!

As for the taste of the blue curry…at first it took courage to take the first bite of the curry rice with its unfamiliar color, but when I tried it, I found it to be an authentic curry, but creamy and mild enough for children to enjoy.

Miracle ♡ Light

Next up is the Miracle Light, which is a colorful glowing heart.
These lights are switched on when watching the parade and glow in tandem with the parade.

Hello Kitty and other characters also appear with these Miracle Lights, creating a sense of solidarity and making the parade even more exciting.

To our surprise, we brought the Miracle Light we bought two years ago, and it glowed in tandem with the lights of others in this parade!
After using it at the Sanrio Puroland parade two years ago, our family had only used it as a toy for the kids, so I was a little impressed to see that it still glowed in conjunction with the parade two years later.

It is a cute stick that glows in eight different colors and has Hello Kitty’s face floating in the middle of the heart.

After using it in the parade as we did, it can be used as a toy for children, and most importantly, I recommend it because it makes the parade more exciting.

At Sanrio Puroland, you can have your picture taken at three attractions: “Character Boat Ride,” “My Merry Road Drive,” and “Lady Kitty House.
At the “Character Boat Ride” and “My Merry Road Drive” attractions, you can have your picture taken while you are riding the attraction.
At “Lady Kitty House,” visitors can experience Lady Kitty’s lifestyle, including the rose garden, dress tower, bedroom, and tea room, before having their picture taken with Lady Kitty.
One thing to note about “Lady Kitty House” is that unlike other “Character Greeting Residences” for other characters, you cannot take pictures with Lady Kitty using your own camera.
If you want to have your picture taken with Kitty, you must have your picture taken with a Puroland camera and purchase it later.
If you want to take a picture with Kitty alone, you can take it with your own camera.

After exiting the above three attractions, you can check your pictures on the screen.
If you like the photo, you can purchase it on the spot.

As a service for purchased photos, there is a “Web Photo Service” that allows you to view your photos on the Internet.
You will find the password in the bottom corner or on the back of the photo you purchased. Enter the password and the date of your visit on the photo service page.

You can view your photos on the Internet from the moment you purchase them, which is very exciting.
Please note that the original data can be downloaded for a period of one month from the date of your visit.
Please make sure to download as soon as possible to avoid expiration of the validity period.

This “Web Photo Service” is a great way to share your memorable photos with family and friends.
It will be a picture that will remain in your memory forever.
